The first and arguably most critical track focused on Inclusive Foundational Literacy and Numeracy. Our discussions underscored the undeniable truth: without a strong foundation in reading, writing, and basic mathematics, children are set on a trajectory of educational disadvantage. The emphasis on “inclusive” highlighted the need for strategies that cater to all learners, regardless of their background, learning style, or challenges. This includes developing culturally relevant materials, employing diverse teaching methodologies, and providing targeted support for children with learning difficulties.
